Entry & Lottery Details:

• Race entry fee is $175 CAD.  This includes an initial $10 CAD non-refundable lottery entry fee.
• The $10 CAD is charged when you enter the lottery, and the balance of $165 CAD is only charged if your name is drawn in the lottery.
• Lottery entry closes January 31, 2023, 11:59PM Pacific Standard Time (PST).
• There are a small number of people who qualify for guaranteed entry; their entries must still be received by January 31, 2023. Details on special considerations are available here.
• Runners will be selected from all entrants on February 02, 2023
• Lottery results will be posted live on the Knee Knacker Facebook page beginning at 7pm PST on February 02, 2023, and full results will be posted on the Knee Knacker website the following day.
• Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and there is no waitlist. In lieu of a waitlist and to comply with permits and maintain the community feel of this event, we overdraw the lottery according to historic attrition rates. We anticipate a starting line of approximately 200 runners.
• All runners will receive a commemorative high-quality garment, finisher medal, and meal ticket to the post-race “Party in the Park”.

**Important Service Requirement**

As a community-focused non-profit event, in order to be eligible to participate, in addition to being selected in the lottery, you must complete four (4) hours of volunteer service. The period to meet this requirement for 2023 is from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. This is a mandatory requirement of all applicants accepted in the lottery.
