<p>This event will be a tour of Vancouver island along with lead follow sessions on the Vancouver Island Motorsports track.</p> <p><strong>The first 30 sign-ups will receive a special goodie bag as part of this event.&nbsp;</strong></p> <h2>Details</h2> <p>&nbsp;A May 13th departure from Tsawwassen ferry terminal on a 10.15 ferry to Duke Point. Starting with your first card for a Poker Run Challenge. Upon arriving on Van. Is. a second card and directions to a luncheon meeting point will be given.</p> <p>Following lunch/meeting a short drive to the Vancouver Island Motorsport Part (The Circuit) where we will meet up with members of the Vancouver Island BMW Club. At 5.00 the Circuit will open the track for all paid up participant for 90 minutes of guided track time&nbsp; The run groups will be broken into groups based on experience and car capability. Each group will be given up to 3&nbsp; - 20 minute sessions. Only the first 60 signed up participants will get track time.</p> <p>There will be prizes for the Poker Run. Plus other goodies!</p> <h2>Cost</h2> <ul> <li>Valid members pay $25.00</li> <li>non-paid up members pay $45.00</li> <li>The track facilities will be open to Vancouver island club members for $45.00 .</li> </ul> <p>BMWCCBC will be accepting membership while at the track, Annual membership is $45.00.</p> <h2><span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-size:16px"><strong>Vehicles</strong></span></span></h2> <h2><span style="font-size:12px">It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure their vehicle is in a safe working manner to participate. Tires are critical to your safety on track. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure tires are in suitable condition for track use. Tire wear to the level of secondary rubber or cords showing will not be permitted on track. If there are concerns to the condition of a car, or a participants tires before or during the track day, participants may not be permitted to continue. Ensure you have fresh brake fluid and brake pads with enough material left to be safe on track. Modified&nbsp; or open exhausts are not allowed as there are stringant noise abattement procedures in effect.</span></h2>
